Centre pass to the right
Ball untouched over the transverse line at H and off court at Green
I – Intercept
D
Shooter catch the ball with feet astride the goal circle on the boepie
- Steps into the circle
- Successful shot at goal
Back to A – Centre pass to the left
Is it true that only the landing foot needs to land in the circle for the goal to be valid? So for example, if the landing foot lands in the circle and the GA puts out her other foot behind her (which happens to be outside the circle) to steady herself, can she bring that second foot back into the circle and shoot?
I’m assuming this would also mean that landing astride the circle line would make the goal valid since both feet are deemed “landing” feet?
Thanks for your help!!
You may not take a shot at goal if you had contact outside of the circle.
Then the sanction will be a Free Pass outside the goal circle.
If you land astride the circle line you may not take a shot at goal.
In no way may you have contact outside the goal circle and then step in and take a shot.
Incorrect Shot – Free Pass outside the goal circle.
NO contact outside the goal circle.
